Good news from Australia as according to the new data from the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) the Australian homes and Businesses have installed an average of 6,5 solar panels per minutes (or 3.5 million) in 2017.

According to the CER

“The data collected by the Clean Energy Regulator in 2017 reflects the industry is going from strength to strength. It looks like 2018 will be another big year for the solar industry,”

We are seeing a wide cross-section of Australians – households, community centers, schools, and small businesses – receiving incentives under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.”

The state of Queensland is leading the charge and overall in Australian, there was a whopping 41% increase of installations all over the territory.

This increase was also due to an increase in performance as the capacity has doubled since 2012 from 3 to 6 kilowatts.
